Probably because it&#x27;s not relevant to the actual methods used. It sounds more like a reaction-diffusion system. The veins have curved edges. The resemblance to voronoi diagrams et al might not be much more than cosmetic.

Read the article, saw no mention of DeLaunay or Voronoi ! How can that have been overlooked?
